UPDF Football Club has officially announced Brian Ssenyondo as their head coach.

The announcement was made on Monday and took place at Bombo Military Barracks with Ssenyondo handed a two-year deal.

The club Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ashraf Miiro, believes the former Mbarara City Manager will help in the building process.

“We are humbled to present Brian Ssenyondo as the UPDF Football Club head coach for a duration of two years,” Miiro said.

Ssenyondo takes over from former Uganda Cranes international Kefa Kisala who left the club last week on mutual consent.

UPDF were in 8th place with 37 points when the 2020-21 season was prematurely ended due to Covid-19.
