URA FC has recalled goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo from his loan spell with Jinja side BUL Football Club.
The custodian had a good showing with the Tax Collectors last season, registering six clean sheets in twelve appearances in both the league and Uganda Cup.
Ssewalunyo was impressive against Police FC and the away 1-1 draw against Vipers in Kitende.
His incredible work in stopping the offensive prowess of Police FC, which had asked him to pull off a number of outstanding saves to ultimately claim the clean sheet at the conclusion of the match.
The Tax Collectors won the game 2-0 and maintained their grip at the top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League summit for that particular matchday.
With his recall complete, Ssebwalunyo will have to fight for a place in the team against Nafian Alionzi and James Alitho who has also returned to the club this off-season.
His presence will also be important as Simeon Masaba’s side intensifies preparations for the forthcoming CAF Confederations Cup Preliminary round fixture against Ethiopian Coffee this Sunday.
