Ethiopian giants St George Football Club has officially announced the capture of the Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Charles Lukwago.

Lukwago moves to St. George from Uganda Premier League side KCCA Fon a two-year deal.

Lukwago joined his new teammates for the pre-season training in Debre Zeyit (Bishoftu) on Thursday, 16th September 2021.

The former Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU), Lweza, and Proline goalkeeper joins a growing list of Ugandan glovesmen to play in Ethiopia.

Posnet Omony, Hannington Kalyesubula, Denis Onyango, Isima Watenga and Robert Odongkara have all kept goal in Ethiopia.
