The Crested Cranes go into the clash at Abebe Biliki Stadium in Addis Ababa oozing with confidence having won the reverse fixture 2-0 at St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende last week.

Crested Cranes head coach George Lutalo believes his charges have what it takes to secure a decent result and progress to the next round.

“The players are in good shape and the mood in camp since arriving in Ethiopia on Sunday is encouraging. We are ready for the game and hopeful that our target of going to the next round will be achieved.

“I’m aware of how they play. I know Ethiopia is a good team that loves possessing the ball but we equally have our approach and we know where to hurt them.”

The return of midfielder Riticia Nabbosa who has recovered in time for today’s encounter boost Uganda’s camp. The central midfielder limped off after scoring the opener in the first leg and missed most of the training sessions before the team travelled on Sunday.

“We know we’ve lost two straight league games but in both losses, our problem has been the failure to convert chances. We create but don’t score so we’ve used the little time we had since Saturday to perfect that so tomorrow against BUL FC we hope to return to winning ways,” Bbosa said ahead of the game.

Express will be without their talisman Eric Kambale as well as winger Godfrey Lwesibawa.

Meanwhile, Alex Isabirye, the man in charge of BUL is confident of maximum points.

BUL has won seven of the previous fifteen meetings between the two sides with Express winning just three and the rest ending in draws.
