• Gaddafi 1-0 Mbarara City

Gaddafi Football Club scored late to record a one-nil win over Mbarara City at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja city on Sunday, 20th February 20.

Defender Andrew Waiswa scored the priceless penalty in the 6th minute of added time.

The penalty was awarded by Referee Richard Kimbowa following a foul on Sheif Batte in the forbidden area.

Waiswa, the captain for the home team, composed himself to drill home past goalkeeper Martin Elungat in goal for the Ankole Lions.

Mbarara City endured the final 30 minutes of the game with a man less following a red card to skipper Solomon Okwalinga.

It was the 6^th win for Gaddafi that takes them above UPDF in the 8^th place with 24 points.

Consequently, Mbarara City suffered their 10^th loss of the season which leaves them in the 14^th position with 16 points.
