Black Pearls clinched the women's fifteen league title after beating Thunderbirds on Saturday at King's Park in Bweyogerere.

The Helen Buteme-coached side obliterated Thunderbirds 75-12 to secure their first 15s title with a game to the end of the season.

Emilly Lekuru scored seven tries in the game, the first coming inside five minutes and the champions in waiting couldn't look back.

The Black Pearls who won the reverse fixture at Kyadondo meant business as they scored for fun through Racheal Mufuwa (2), Grace Auma (3), and Bushira Namutebi. Charlotte Mudoola converted four of the thirteen tries.

All of Thunderbirds' points came off the boot of Mary Kyoita as the Kyadondo outfit left King’s Park without entering the host's try area.
