Nepali right-hand batter and right-arm medium bowler Indu Barma has been named Nepal women's cricket national team vice-captain ahead of the bilateral series against Uganda.
Barma debuted in a T20 International match against China, but has also represented her country in the 2019 ICC Women's Qualifiers Asia in Bangkok, Thailand.
In October 2021, she was again named in Nepal's side for the 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
"Indu Barma has been appointed as new vice-captain of Nepal Women's National Cricket Team," read a statement from Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
Between 2019-2021, Barma has faced 324 balls in WT20I and scored 260 runs, an average strike rate of 80.24 in 20 matches, with her highest score being 55 not out.
