Six-time champions Falcons have completed the first round of the National Basketball League without registering a single win.

Falcons lost 76-60 to Nam Blazers on Wednesday at YMCA in a rescheduled game. It was the club’s 12th loss from as many games and remains rooted at the bottom of the 13-team log.

The side coached by Tonny Oluka will be hoping to make amends when the second round tips off on 3rd June.

Falcons won two quarters and outrebounded Nam Blazers 49-44 but 25 turnovers proved costly in a game they scored only two three-pointers.

Guard Blair Wadaya scored a game-high 25 points, Ariel Okall Koranga had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Blazers.

Emmanuel Ateng had 20 points, Mark Ngobi and Henrison Mbaziira scored 18 and 10 respectively for Falcons.

With three teams to be relegated after the second round, the Falcons could face the drop.
