Victoria Pearls' Vice Captain and all-rounder Janet Mbabazi has claimed the 2022 Rwanda Women's Elite League Most Valuable Player, best batter and bowler accolades.

Mbabazi outshined her colleagues as she amassed 124 runs and picked a total of 7 wickets in 5 matches of the tournament.

In a statement released by Rwanda Cricket Federation, Mbabazi's performance was lauded; "Class !! the right word to use explaining @janetmbabazi19's performances in the Rwanda cricket Women's Elite league 2022.

"She scoops the best bowler, best batter and Most valuable player awards in the tournament ,Well done Mbabazi!!" it further read.

This yet another accolade Mbabazi is claiming after walking away with the 2022 Nepal T20I series Player of Tournament and vying for the ICC Player of the Month of April for her exploits during the Capricon Tri-Series in Namibia.

Her team Amasimbi Hawks won the Rwanda Women's Elite League final against Ingabo Knights by 7 runs, Mbabazi scoring 29 runs off 35 balls before picking 2 wickets for 15 runs in 4 overs.
