- KCCA FC 1-1 URA FC
- Arua Hill 0-1 SC Villa
SC Villa edged ten-man Arua Hill one-nil in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at the Barifa Stadium in Arua on Saturday. Charles Bbale’s scored the solitary goal from the spot in the 49th minute after Arua Hill’s left-back Richard Matovu handled the ball in the area and was shown marching orders. It is a huge result for Villa, who were recently docked two points and two goals due to fans' hooliganism during their game against Wakiso Giants. They now move to 14 points and fourth position after 8 games. Meanwhile, Arua Hill suffered a third straight defeat. They now remain in the 7th position with 10 points. Arua Hill dominated the opening exchanges and they missed a couple of chances before the break. Gaddafi Wahab, Rashid Kawawa, Ivan Eyam, and Richard Matovu all had chances at goal in the opening half. Four minutes into the second half, Matovu blocked Sheif Batte’s effort in the area with his hand and was sent off. Bbale made no mistake putting away the resultant penalty and the goal was the match-winner. Next Up Arua Hill will visit Gaddafi FC on Wednesday 23rd November in Jinja while Villa will host KCCA FC on Friday 25th November at a venue yet to be communicated following their ban from hosting games with Kampala, Buganda, and Eastern regions.
