Consy Aweko will captain a squad of 14 girls for the T20 Series in Nairobi Kenya from the 11th to the 22nd of December. Proscovia Alako, Immaculate Nakisuyi, Stephanie Nampiina, Irene Alumo, and Proscovia Alako return to the national side after missing the 2022 Kwibuka, Nepal, and Namibia. The series will have Uganda, Kenya, and Qatar as participating teams will be vying for ranking points. The Victoria Pearls are ranked 19th in the World and will be led by Head Coaches Lawrence Ssematimba and his assistant Lawrence Ssempijja. The team was successful in Nepal early this year and finished third in the 2022 Kwibuka tournament.
