Tanzania has made a late entry into the now - T20I quadrangular series that will be hosted by Kenya at the Nairobi Gymkhana Club. The entry of Tanzania means they will be the highest-ranked team in the tournament at 16th position while Uganda is at 21st position, Kenya 23rd, and Qatar 45th. The Victoria Pearls will be returning from a break that saw them compete in the 2022 Kwibuka tournament where they finished third. The squad that has been named has a lot of experience with the return of five key players, Immaculate Nakisuyi, Stephanie Nampiina, Irene Alumo, Proscovia Alako and Esther Iloku. Consy Aweko will lead the side with the assistance of Janet Mbabazi. The team will be handled by Lawrence Ssematimba and he will be assisted by Lawrence Ssempijja.
