Soltilo Bright Stars’ forward Nelson Ssenkatuka and Vipers SC coach Roberto Oliveira were named the best performers of the month of November by the Uganda Premier League. Ssenkatuuka who had a poor start to the season turned up in November and the league recognised him with the player of the month award. He scored five goals, one against Onduparaka, and two braces against Express and BUL FC. The star had one assist and three man-of-the-match awards, and online voters gave him 57% of the vote which made him the best of November. Senkatuka beat Alex Kitata of Gadaffi FC forward, who scored 5 goals and won one man of the match accolade and Wakiso Giants’ midfielder Ibrahim Kasule who had three goals on his name and three assists. Meanwhile, Vipers tactician Roberto Oliveira took the best coach award beating KCCA’s Morley Byekwaso and John Luyinda of Wakiso Giants. Oliveira and his Vipers won six out of the seven games played in the month of November and drew one, meaning they collected 19 points out of the possible 21.
