Netball She Cranes have dropped from 6th to 7th in the World Netball (WN) Rankings following the SPAR Diamond Challenge and Nations Cup Singapore. The top five teams in the WN Rankings, didn't swap or lose any positions, Australia remaining 1st, New Zealand 2nd, England 3rd, Jamaica 4th, and South Africa 5th. However, Uganda dropped, Malawi taking up her position of 6th. Scotland and Zimbabwe remained 10th and 13th positions while Botswana, Fiji, Ireland, Malaysia and Singapore who all played in the Asia Nations Cup in Singapore improved. In August 2014, Uganda were ranked 15th in the INF World Rankings. The team has qualified for three world cups since the 2015 edition when they defeated Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland and Botswana. They have already qualified automatically for the 2023 Netball World Cup which will be held from Friday, 28 July to Sunday, 6 August at the International Convention Centre in Cape Town, South Africa.February 5, 2025 | Basketball
