URA Football Club has loaned winger Joachim Ojera to Rwandese top-flight side Rayon Sports for a season. “We would like to announce that our right winger Joackiam Ojera has joined Rwanda Premier League side Rayon Sports FC on loan for a period of five months until end of the season after both parties reaching an agreement,” reads a statement from URA FC. Ojera thus becomes the first player in URA’s history to join a foreign club on loan. The pacy winger was out of favour in the first half of the season with playing time coming in the just concluded FUFA Drum that was won by the West Nile. At Rayon Sport, he joins another Ugandan player, Musa Esenu who joined the side last year from Bul FC. Ojera finds Rayon Sports in second place with 31 points from 16 games this season and they are just two points behind leaders AS Kigali. Their next assignment will be an away game to 8th-placed Mukura and Ojera will most likely mark his debut.
