Kampala Queens registered a convincing 2-0 win over She Corporate in a Fufa Women Super League game held at the IUIU Kabojja Grounds on Sunday. Goals from Hassifa Nassuna and Resty Nanziri were enough as Hamza Lutalo-coached side bagged maximum points on the day that helped the Queens of Soccer extend their unbeaten run to 11 games in the league. Kampala Queens have won 11 out of 11 and are still on top of the log with 33 points. Nassuna broke the deadlock, scoring from a direct free kick which goalkeeper Daphine Nyayenga fumbled with at the near post. Nanziri and Margret Kunihira were wasteful as Kampala Queens could have scored more in the opening half. And with eleven minutes to the end of regulation, Nanziri found herself in the right place at the right time to tap in a well-delivered cross from Asia Nakibuuka. Her goal was her 8th in the season and is the current league's leading scorer. The victory means Kampala Queens are now 14 points clear of second-placed Uganda Martyrs and is on the course of winning the title unbeaten.
