Jackson Magera returns to MTN Omondi Stadium as the first-team coach of the KCCA FC senior men’s team.

The former SC Villa gaffer returns to a club where he worked under Mike Hillary Mutebi for two and a half seasons before he showed the exit door.

In the previous season, he proved his worth after guiding SC Villa to the third position on the 15-team log with a squad that was largely made up of youthful players, top-tier debutants and a few senior players.

However next season, the assignment will be doing all it takes to see that KCCA FC end the trophy drought that has been on since the departure of Mutebi.

Magera will work under head coach Sergio Traguil and his assistant Luis Manuel Correira.

Another foreign coach Eduardo Lazaro Ramon Leiva will further beef up the technical team in the role of Strength and Conditioning.

The goalkeeping coach remains Moses Oloya, Felix Ayobo is maintained as the club’s fitness coach while Saka Mpiima has been confirmed as the Junior team’s head coach.

Ivan Ssewanyana will maintain the position of team doctor working with Emmanuel Tusuubira as the club’s physiotherapist.
