  • KCCA FC vs. URA FC - 5 PM

KCCA FC will seek to maintain a perfect run under their new coach Sergio Traguil as they face a URA FC side reeling from the loss of head coach Sam Timbe in the FUFA Super 8.

The Kasasiro Boys kick-started the campaign by eliminating Wakiso Giants in a 2-0 victory. On their way to the finals now stand the Tax Collectors.

During the press conference, Traguil urged his troops to stick to the plan so that they show something special.

“We need to show something special in this game,” he told the KCCA media.

“We our opponents have a very young squad and have signed over 10 players but if we stick to our principles and do things we have been doing in training all week then we shall have the edge over them,” he added.

While URA wants to fight for maximum points in honor of their fallen head coach Sam Timbe.

URA FC assistant coach Fred Muhumuza revealed that it's been a hard time for them though the spirit is gradually improving.

“It has been tough times for us following the death of a father figure in Coach Sam Timbe but thank God we returned to training and the spirit is good,” Muhumuza noted.

“We have told players that Timbe wanted success and now they have to win to make him proud. We are playing a good side but if we are to win silverware then we ought to be set and ready to face anyone,” he concluded.

The last time the two teams played was at Metha Stadium, Lugazi as URA FC beat KCCA FC in a 2-0 well-deserved victory.

FUFA has announced that there will be a minute of silence before kickoff in memory of Timbe.
