Uganda National Sevens Team coach Tolbert Onyango has named the final squad to play at the Africa Men’s Sevens tournament in Harare, Zimbabwe.

The two-day tournament takes place next weekend (September 16-17) and will act as a qualification pathway for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Four players have been released from the team that has been in camp and these are Timothy Mugisha, Aaron Tukei, Karim Arinaitwe and Mark Osuna.

Rhino's Davis Shimwa is the only player on the team who will be making a debut for the national side having impressed coach Onyango.

Pius Ogena and Isaac Massa make a return to the national side after being away from the team due to personal reasons and injuries respectively.

Mubarak Waandera and Denis Etwau whose first run with the team was during the Dubai 7s maintain their places and are joined by usual suspects.
