Sport-S Volleyball Club extended their dominance of the National Club Championship by winning their third consecutive title.

Sport-S beat UCU Doves in straight sets (25-18, 25-21, 25-20) on Wednesday night at the Old Kampala Arena in the replayed final.

The final had been cut short over the weekend at Kakyeka in Mbarara due to insufficient light with Sport-S leading 2-1 but in the replay, the winners gave Doves no chance at getting a set.

Emmanuel Otim was the star of the show alongside Samuel Engwau in a game Sport-S net defense was superb. Skipper Thon Maker came in handy.

It was nearly a lone fight for UCU's receiver-attacker Gideon Angiro who had a short stint with Rwanda's APR Volleyball Club.

Sport-S thus join Ndejje Elites as the two clubs that will represent the country at next year's African Club. Volleyball Championships.

Focus now turns to the league that volleys off on Saturday at the same venue.
