After the appointment of Abdallah Mubiru as KCCA FC head coach, he has gone ahead to put together a technical team with which he will work.

Kefa Kisala is among those appointed to work under Mubiru as an assistant coach a role he will assume with Jackson Kaddu Magera.

Kisala returns to a club he played for from 1997 to 2000. So he understands the club's philosophy as well as the demands from both fans and stakeholders.

Kisala has previously coached Kitayosce FC and Fountain Gate in Tanzania. Locally, he has coached Express FC, Wakiso Giants, Masaka LC, BUL FC, and URA FC.

KCCA FC started the season on a very low note, collecting just four points from seven games, also losing their first five opening games in the process before drawing against Arua Hill SC and later beating Vipers SC.

Among the changes in the shake-up is the appointment of Felix Ayobo as the Fitness Coach. Felix had been relieved from the role by Sergio Traguil before he was sacked.

Moses Oloya will continue in the office of goalkeepers while Saka Mpiima is tasked to build a strong junior side that can hopefully feed the senior team.

KCCA are 14th on the log with four points. They return to action on Friday, November 24.
