KCCA secured a well-deserved 2-0 victory against Admin FC in the Uganda Cup encounter that was played at Mbale Municipal Stadium on Wednesday.

Shortly after the final whistle, KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru heaped lots of praise on his troops after claiming victory away from home.

“We are happy with the way the boys played. Every player tried to give his best and am happy with what the team looked like,” Mubiru told the press.

“As a team, we mind our progress and no one else. We shall do everything to achieve that because we know it's a process,” he added.

Muhammad Shaban was lethal in front of goal as he netted twice to guide the Kasasiro Boys into the round of 32 of the prestigious tournament. Mubiru believes that with the right support, Shaban can score more goals.

“I am so happy with Muhammad Shaban who scored two goals and together with the team we shall continue supporting him to see that he scores more goals.”

“I am also happy with how Emmanuel Loki handled himself. He came from the bench and greatly changed the game. We would reach into the box but lacked composure, a challenge that Loki solved right away.”

KCCA will wait for the draws to know who they play next in the round of 32. However, they will return to action as they host BUL FC in the Uganda Premier League on Friday, February 2 at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
