Uganda U17 Women's National Football Team (Teen Cranes) greatly executed the assignment securing a 3-1 victory against Cameroon in the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Qualifier.

In the game played at Stade Militaire, Uganda secured a win away from home to keep the dream of playing a the global stage alive with a 4-2 aggregate win.

Sylvia Kabene gave Uganda the lead in the 23rd minute after Cameroon’s custodian and her defender failed to clear their lines.

Esther Nangendo doubled the visitors’ lead with an emphatic corner kick that went straight into the back of the net.

Cameroon tried to chase and at least find their shooting in the game but Uganda’s backline was well-placed and tight.

Before full-time, Cameroon pulled back one before Agnes Nabukenya responded to recreate the two-goal lead.

Uganda will face off against the winner from Tanzania and Zambia duel.
