Uganda Premier League | Fixture

  • BUL vs VIpers - 4 PM
  • KCCA vs SC Villa - 7 PM

KCCA seek to return to winning ways in the Uganda Premier League as they take on SC Villa in the Kampala Derby.

The highly anticipated game will be played under the floodlights at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole as one of the test events for the venue to host international matches.

Ahead of the game, Villa goalkeeper Braddy Wokorach has called upon the fans to turn up in high numbers so as to rally behind the boys.

“I call upon our fans to turn up in large numbers so that they rally behind the boys,” Wokorach rallied.

“We know what this game means this season. We have prepared well and now only await action so as to fight for the badge. The target is winning the game and I am confident we shall achieve it,” he added.

In the previous game, Villa ended their three-game winless run with a narrow 1-0 victory against Gaddafi thanks to Patrick Jonah Kakande’s finish.

Villa have always created chances in every game they play but the challenge always arises when it comes to converting the continuous deliveries.

Against KCCA, Villa will have to carry their scoring boots if they are to pick anything positive from the game.

Before the 2-2 stalemate against Bright Stars, KCCA had registered six consecutive victories and they will seek to return to winning ways as they take on their rivals.

In the last five games between the two sides, KCCA have registered three wins while the other two duels have ended in draws.
