Uganda’s batting again folded under the pressure, with only Kenneth Waiswa (11) managing to reach double figures. Fred Achelam, playing his first game at the tournament, contributed 9 runs.

Simon Ssesazi, Robinson Obuya, and Alpesh Ramjani didn't trouble the scorers.

Southee picked 3 wickets for 4 runs, Boult picked 2 wickets for runs while Ravindra picked 2 wickets for 9 runs.

New Zealand’s chase was easy and done inside the power play with opener Devon Conway knocking 22 runs off 15 balls.
