Kawempe Muslim Secondary School clinched the 2024 USSSA Girls Football national title.

Kawempe Muslim secured a 5-4 penalty victory against Rines SS at Standard High Secondary School Ndejje Campus playground.

The end-to-end encounter ended goalless in normal time and the referee sent both sides into deciding penalties.

During the spot kicks, Kawempe Muslim's custodian Haira Nabbosa made two superb stops to deliver the trophy to the school.

It was the eighth time Kawempe Muslims were getting hold of the national title to cement further their place on the throne of girls' football in the country.

It's been a beautiful year for Kawempe Muslim who lifted the FUFA Women's Super League title and the national schools' title this year.

It was a moment of honour and pride for Rines SS who played their first-ever final in the history of girls' football in the country.

After the concluded tournament, the qualified school will embark on preparations for the FEASSA Games that will be played later this year.
