Lugazi Football Club has confirmed that they will take on Kenya’s Tusker FC in an international friendly on Saturday, August 10^, 2024.

The game is set to be used as a pre-season curtain-raiser ahead of the club’s maiden season in the Uganda Premier League.

Lugazi was recently promoted to the top flight after finishing second behind champions Police FC in the FUBA Big League.

The club has grown in stature and continues to take steps in the right direction, proving that they are fit for their new stature.

Before the game, the club will announce all the new signings and welcome the newly appointed head coach Sadick Sempigi at Lugazi FC Stadium.

Tusker FC finished second on the log of Kenya Premier League with 65 points, eight behind eventual winners Gor Mahia. Tusker have 13 league titles in their cabin and are expected to give Lugazi a perfect test ahead of the upcoming campaign.
