Maroons and BUL share spoils in a one-all draw in the FUFA Super 8 encounter played at St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, on Friday.

Jerome Kirya fired BUL ahead before Brian Omirambe levelled matters for Maroons in a thrilling game of football.

Nicholas Mwere set up Ibrahim Orit, but the forward's last touch in front of the goal was heavy sending the ball off target in the 38th minute.

Kirya broke the deadlock with a furious half volley in the added time of the first stanza.

The attacking midfielder was set up by Isaac Wagoina, and the final effort was a delight to watch.

Five minutes into the second half, Maroons found the equaliser through Omirambe.

Midway through the second half, Maroons were reduced to ten men after Mawejje Muwadda was shown a second booking and eventually sent off.

Wagoina had a chance to kill off the game late, but his effort failed to get on the target.

The two sides will meet in the second leg on Wednesday, August 7, at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
