FUFA Super 8 | Fixture

  • NEC vs Vipers - 5pm
  • KCCA vs Kitara - 8pm

KCCA will lock horns with Kitara in the second leg of the FUFA Super 8 quarterfinals encounter at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Kitara come into this game with a 1-0 advantage thanks to Denis Omedi’s first half strike that ended being the difference.

In the pre-match conference, KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru reviled that they will do all it takes to over-turn the result.

“To our fans, we are still building, and we are just three weeks into the pre-season training, but we want to win and will do everything to overturn the result,” Mubiru said.

“Preseason comes with a lot of loading, finding combinations, and building certain elements in the team. I am happy that players are acclimatising at a high speed,” he added.

“In the previous season, we started some partnership, though we did not score. I will make it clear that we shall keep building and cooking patiently.”

KCCA must score more than one goal without conceding if at all, the Kasasiro Boys are to make it to the semi-finals of the ongoing FUFA Super 8.

The game will be played under floodlights shortly after the game between NEC and Vipers SC.
