FUFA Super 8 | Saturday Results
- Kitara 0-1 BUL
- SC Villa 2(3)-2(4) NEC
BUL registered a 1-0 victory against Kitara in the FUFA Supper 8 semifinals clash played at MTN Omondi Stadium on Saturday, August 10.
The oil-manufactures’ narrow lead was enough to confirm their spot in the final, thus giving them a great chance to defend the title.
Pascal Ngobi was on target to place BUL in the driving seat, thus giving them the advantage against a greatly changed Kitara side.
Ngobi scored a stunning finish in the 63rd minute as he looped the ball past Kitara’s custodian Jamil Kiyimba.

From that point, Kitara was on the front foot seeking to level matters, but Abbey Kikomeko’s charges were well composed at the back.
After bargaining past Kitara, BUL will play the winner between Vipers and the Select Team that will be facing off in the second semi-final game.
In the classification game, NEC fought from two goals down at the break before they levelled matters and later won 4-3 on penalties.
