Reigning FUFA Super 8 champions BUL Football Club has already set the league title as their target as we head into the new season.
This comes after, BUL edged Vipers 6-5 on penalties after firing blanks in normal time at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Sunday.
The oil manufacturers went into the books of record as the first club to win the trophy back-to-back.
After the match, BUL head coach Abbey Kikomeko expressed great enthusiasm ahead of the upcoming season.
"Now that we have taken the trophy, it has motivated us very well. We expect a good start to the season," he said.
"The tournament has prepared us very well because we've played harder teams, so I think by the time we begin the season, we'll be very prepared," he added.
"Last season, we finished second; definitely, there's nothing else apart from the trophy. We are targeting the league trophy, nothing else."
In the previous season, BUL finished second with 56 points, one behind champions SC Villa. Kikomeko believes extra determination can see them eventually lift the title.
