Uganda Premier League side KCCA has confirmed the signing of experienced forward Derrick Nsibambi in the ongoing transfer window.

Nsibambi put pen to a two-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until July of 2026.

The goal poacher returns to the club that brought him to the big scene from 2014 to 2018.

He believes that he is back home and is excited to get started again after completing the transfer.

"I'm happy to be back home where it all started. I know this club through and through, and I know what it means to the fans. I can't wait to get started again," he shared.

Nsibambi left KCCA in 2018, and he has played for different clubs across the continent in countries like Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Oman.

His return seeks to feel the big void created by the departure of Muhammad Shaban, who joined Al Hilal Beghanzi in Libya.

Nsibambi will compete for a starting berth in the striking position with Abubaker Mayanja and Emmanuel Anyama.
