Uganda Premier League giants URA FC have strengthened their defensive ranks with the acquisition of experienced defender Bright Vuni on a two-year contract.

The Tax Collectors confirmed the signing on their official website on Wednesday, September 11th.

Vuni joins URA from UPDF FC, where he was a key figure last season.

Known for his defensive solidity, aerial ability, and occasional goal-scoring prowess, he is a valuable addition to the Tax Collectors' backline.

The defender replaces Najib Fesali, who departed for BUL FC at the end of his contract.

Vuni brings a wealth of experience to URA, having previously played for Arua Hill SC in the top tier.

He becomes URA's third new signing of the summer, joining Isma Mugulusi and Abraham Tusubira.

The Tax Collectors will kick off their 2024/25 campaign with a tough test against KCCA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium on Friday, September 13th.
