Uganda Premier League | Fixture
- KCCA vs Maroons - 7:00pm
KCCA is set to lock horns with Maroons in the Uganda Premier League at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Thursday.
The Kasasiro Boys have looked impressive since the start of the campaign. They have so far secured four wins and two draws in the six games played.
They are still unbeaten and are yet to concede a goal at home. With 14 points, a victory today will guide them to the summit of the log-adrift Vipers SC.
KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru has warned his troops about the Maroons' arsenal, though he believes the side has what it takes to break them down.
"We are playing against one of our bogey sides (Maroons FC). We expect a resilient side that will give us a challenge but we hope we can break their resilience," he said.
On the other side, Maroons have started the campaign on a slow note. They have secured one win, made three draws and suffered two losses in the six games played thus far.
In the previous 18 meetings, KCCA has claimed 11 wins while Maroons have won thrice. The two sides have shared spoils on four occasions.
