BUL secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Bright Stars in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe on Thursday evening.

Anwar Ntege's lonely strike ensured BUL secure maximum points for the hosts on the day.

The forward fired home in the ninth minute after being set up by Nicholas Mwere in a well-taken freekick.

Despite Bright Stars' fight, BUL stood tall and firm as they fought all throughout for the victory in front of their home crowd.

It was BUL's maiden victory at Lugazi Stadium since switching homes from FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The victory takes BUL to the fourth position with eleven points after seven games while Bright Stars sit bottom of the log with three points.

Up next, BUL will visit Mbale Heroes while Bright Stars host Kitara on matchday eight.
