• KAVC 1-3 Ndejje (21-25, 25-22, 19-25, 18-25)

Nemostars edged Ndejje 3-2 in the National Volleyball League encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Wednesday evening.

It was a close and exciting encounter as two sides locked horns in a five-set thriller.

Nemostars got out of their blocks early to triumph in the first set with a difference of 12 points (25-13).

However, Ndejje Sharks returned to the game restoring parity after triumphing the second set (25-22).

Nemostars regained the lead after the third quarter with a (25-17) lead but Ndejje responded emphatically with a (25-21) victory thus setting up the fifth set.

The experienced side Nemostars edged Ndejje 15-12 to clinch the closely contested game.

At the end of the day, all the proceedings from the game were given to Elyon Volleyball Club in support of Silver Owinjo's treatment.
