KCCA Volleyball Club secured a 3-0 victory against Elyon Volleyball Club in the National Volleyball League at Sport-S grounds, Nsambya, on Sunday.

Elyon suffered their second loss on the bounce since suffering the big low of Silver Owinjo being forced out due to a knee injury.

KCCA edged Elyon by two points (26-24) as the former sailed through the first set of the game.

Despite, Elyon's massive fight in the second set, KCCA's experience came to play to win the period by three points (25-22).

Elyon ran out of steam in the final set as they lost the period by four points (25-21).

The youthful Elyon side struggled to deal with KCCA's hot spikes which kept them in the chasing park.

Elyon lacked an attacker to step into Owinjo's shoes, and that's something the coach has to deal with going forward.
