FUFA Women Super League | Result

She Maroons secured a 1-0 victory against Rines in the FUFA Women Super League encounter at Luzira on Sunday.

Veronica Masinde's strike was enough to award the hosts maximum points on the day.

Rines started on the front foot and created two great chances but were not sharp enough to put the ball in the back of the net.

She Maroons' backline was perfectly placed, thus sucking in all the pressure from the visitors.

Masinde broke the deadlock in the 14th minute with a perfectly placed strike.

From that point, Rines worked so hard to bounce back into the game but was so unlucky on the day as the hosts walked away victorious.

The victory sent She Maroons to the third position with 13 points while Rines lie fifth with 11 points after eight games.
