Paidha Black Angels secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Kataka FC at the Bar Okoro Stadium in a dramatic FUFA Big League clash.

Opar Jacob's decisive header in the 94th minute ensured the hosts returned to winning ways after a 2-1 loss to Arua Hill had ended their unbeaten run.

The victory marked Paidha's third win of the season, propelling them to 6th place on the table with 13 points from eight matches.

Goalkeeper Tonny Kyamera was instrumental in the win, earning his fourth clean sheet of the campaign.

Notably, three of those cleansheets have come at their fortress, Bar Okoro Stadium.

For Kataka FC, the defeat extended their struggles this season. Following a 2-1 loss to Calvary FC at Midigo Ground, this marked their second consecutive loss and fifth overall in nine games. With just two wins and a draw, Kataka languishes in 10th place with 10 points.

Both teams now shift focus to their upcoming fixtures on Sunday, December 8.

Paidha Black Angels will visit Blacks Power at the Akibua Memorial Stadium, while Kataka will host Onduparaka FC at the Mbale Stadium as they seek to bounce back.
