UPDF secured their first victory away from home in the ongoing campaign.
UPDF secured a 2-0 victory against BUL in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe on Wednesday.
Christopher Kawagu and Brian Kalumba scored the two goals to bag maximum for the visitors.
Kawagu broke the deadlock in the 27th minute with a brilliant effort into the back of the net from a tight angle.
Joel Mutakubwa made two spectacular saves to keep the hosts in the reach of the game that was in UPDF's hands.
As the first stanza came to an end, Aggrey Kiirya made a great interception to deny Regan Kalyowa whose strike was destined for the back of the net.
Kalumba doubled UPDF's lead in the 86th minute after being set up emphaticallyBashir Kabuye.
The victory takes UPDF to the sixth position with 16 points while BUL drop to ninth position with 14 points in 11 games.
