KCCA FC's quest for this season’s league title suffered another setback as they were held to a goalless draw by Police FC on Thursday at Kavumba Recreation Ground.

In a tightly contested match, both sides failed to capitalize on their scoring opportunities, leaving the game without a breakthrough.

The Kasasiro Boys have been struggling for form, managing only one win in their last seven outings.

The draw leaves them four points behind league leaders Vipers SC, who are set to play UPDF FC today.

Police FC’s goalkeeper, Edward Kasibante, was the standout performer, making crucial saves to deny Sharif Ssengendo, Derrick Nsibambi, and Saidi Mayanja.

On the other end, KCCA FC goalkeeper Mutwalibi Mugolofa kept his side in the game by stopping efforts from Gadaffi Kacancu and Isaac Ogwang.

The result keeps KCCA FC in third place with 24 points, while Police FC, registering their ninth draw of the season, climbs to seventh with 18 points.
