The 51st edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup is set to ignite with the exciting round of 64 draws held at Turaco Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel on Monday.

Joining the festivities was Daniel Kayongo, a marketing executive from Kansai Plascon.

Defending champions, Kitara FC, face a challenging start to their title defence, drawn away to Young Simba.

Last season's runners-up, NEC, will also encounter a roadblock, travelling to UCU (Mbale) in the early stages of the competition.

The road ahead appears less daunting for former champions KCCA, Express, SC Villa, URA, Vipers, and BUL, though all six powerhouses will face the test of travelling to their respective opponents.

KCCA will journey to Napak to face 403 Brigade, while URA embarks on a trip to Agago district to take on Kalongo United.

Vipers will travel to Tepa, and Express faces a long journey to Amolatar to confront the Red Devils.

SC Villa enjoys a slightly shorter trip, facing off against Seeta United across town.

The round of 64 matches is scheduled to take place between 10th and 20th January 2025 at various venues across the country, with the winner advancing through a knockout format.

The ultimate victor of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will earn the prestigious right to represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
