Uganda Premier League | Result

Bright Stars and Lugazi shared spoils in a one-all draw in the Uganda Premier League encounter on Monday.

Nelson Mandela and Alex Mandela scored for Lugazi and Bright Stars respectively as the two sides went toe to toe at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

The first half started on a slow note as either side preffered to build attack from the back.

Mandela broke the deadlock in the 41st minute to put the visitors in the driving seat.

The hosts went into the break with a deficit of a goal setting up a perfect tone for the second half.

Bright Stars came out of the dressing room firing and seeking for a leveller as soon as possible.

Mandela restored parity as he guided home Gideon Odong's delivery in the 63rd minute.

A point lifted Lugazi to the 12th position while Bright Stars are 15th with 10 points from 15 games.
