Simba (Uganda Wildlife Authority) secured a hard-fought 3-2 win against Mbale Heroes in the Uganda Cup Round of 64 on Sunday.

Edgar Katumba opened the scoring for Simba in the 28th minute with a clinical finish, giving the home side an early advantage.

However, Mbale Heroes responded in the 40th minute when Patrick Oyet equalized, sending the crowd into a frenzy of celebrations.

Shortly after the second half began, Katumba struck again in the 48th minute, restoring Simba's lead with a simple tap-in after Mbale's defense failed to clear their lines.

The game remained intense as Umar Kayemba quickly equalized for Mbale Heroes just three minutes later, setting the stage for a thrilling contest.

The decisive moment came when Kenneth Ssebaduka capitalized on a rebound, firing home to seal the victory for Simba.
