Exciting youngster Alvin Birungi has extended his stay at Lugazi after putting pen to a five-year employment contract.

The contract is meant to keep him at the club until the end of the 2029/30 campaign.

The development was confirmed via the club's official website on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

"Winger Birungi Alvin Twiine has signed a new 5-year contract with Lugazi," the statement partly reads.

Birungi joined Lugazi in September 2023 as a teenager but the forward has improved day by day meeting the demands of top-tier football.

He has so far made two assists in nine games played.

In the first round of the current campaign, Lugazi finished with 14 points from 15 matches.
