FUFA Big League side Busoga United has strengthened its squad by signing nine new players during the January transfer window.

The club's CEO, Dan Gulere Isabirye, announced the signings at Speke Courts on Monday, February 3, 2025.

"We have completed the signing of nine new players. Our goal is to rebuild the team, and we need to be patient as we work towards improvement," Isabirye stated.

Among the new recruits, Douglas Muganga, Anthony Mayanja, and Amos Kirya have joined from BUL FC.

Meanwhile, Dan Sewava and Franco Balabala have arrived from regional sides Kianga United and Gaddafi FC, respectively.

Additionally, Alex Mutataze, Paul Kibande, Gerald Hamya, and Alex Bucho have joined the club from Jinja North and URA FC.

Busoga United currently sits ninth in the league standings, having collected 17 points from 14 games in the first round.
