BUL secured a 2-0 victory over Express in their Uganda Premier League encounter at the Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, on Wednesday.

An own goal by Alex Wasswa and a brilliant finish from Pascal Ngobi made the difference as BUL claimed all three points.

Hillary Onek and Richard Okello were in top form, constantly troubling the Express defense.

BUL took the lead in the 15th minute when Wasswa inadvertently guided Nicholas Mwere’s delivery into his own net.

Express had a chance to equalize six minutes later, but Muhammad Senoga Kagawa's effort was comfortably saved by Joel Mutakubwa.

Ngobi doubled BUL’s lead in the 39th minute after an excellent setup by Aprem.

Just before halftime, Benon Tahomera made a crucial block to deny Senoga a clear sight of BUL’s goal.

With this victory, BUL moves up to sixth place with 23 points, while Express remains third with 25 points after 16 games.
