Express is set to lock horns with BUL in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo on Wednesday.

The Red Eagles last secured a victory against BUL in 2023, since then they have failed to beat the Jinja based side in the last four meetings.

Having finished third in the first round, Express will come all out seeking to reduce the point different between them and second placed NEC.

Speaking ahead of the game, Express captain Emmanuel Wasswa expressed readiness ahead of the game.

"We want to start the second round with three points and as players, we are ready," the skipper said.

In the first round, the two sides shared spoils in a one-all draw at Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe.

Elsewhere, Maroons will be seeking a rare double against troubled Bright Stars.

In the same breath, Lugazi will be hosting Police in a newbies affair at Lugazi Stadium.
