UPDF secured a 2-0 victory against SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Bombo Barracks Grounds on Sunday.

Daniel Kitara and Brian Kalumba were on the score sheet as UPDF secured maximum points on the day.

Kitara broke the deadlock in the 13th minute after connecting with Christopher Tebandeke's thrilling cross.

SC Villa tried to return to the game but UPDF's backline stood tall and firm to keep in the lead of the game.

Kalumba doubled UPDF's lead after capitalizing on SC Villa's error in the backline.

The victory takes UPDF 10th on the log with 24 points in 18 games.

SC Villa are still in search of their first window away from home.
