KCCA secured a commanding 5-0 victory over Bright Stars in the Uganda Premier League at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Friday.

Bright Anukani opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a well-placed right-footed strike past Bright Stars' goalkeeper Derrick Were.

Arafat Usama doubled KCCA’s lead in the 32nd minute, making a perfectly timed run to tap in Shafik Kwikiriza’s precise delivery from the left flank.

Just three minutes later, Saidi Mayanja capitalized on a brilliant team move to slot home KCCA’s third goal.

Anukani sealed the dominant first-half performance with a superbly curled free kick in the 39th minute, extending the hosts' lead to 4-0.

Joao Gabriel put the icing on the cake with a powerful volley connecting with Ettiene Katenga's sweet delivery.

The victory propels KCCA to fourth place with 34 points, while Bright Stars remain in 15th place with 12 points after 21 games.
